Why I am starting the Pragmatic DevX Newsletter?
A small article explaining why I am starting this newsletter and what my goals are.
Hi, my name is Maina Wycliffe, and I am starting a new journey in my life. Over the last few months, I have decided that I want to help developers become better at their job. This will be the most significant change in my career, spanning over five years both professionally and semi-professionally, but I am looking forward to it.
One way of achieving this is by starting this Newsletter. Every week on Thursday, I will send out a newsletter covering developer tools, tips, tricks, and related resources to help developers improve their skills and make their lives a whole lot easier.
My goals for the following this Newsletter:
Write and cover developer tools
Automation Tools - Tools to automate various actions by developers
CI/CD Tools - Github Actions, Dagger, Self-Contained Builds, etc.
Development Environment - Github Codespaces, Gitpods, Docker Development Containers, etc.
Tools - VS Code, Atom, Sublime, etc.
Tips and Tricks to help you improve your skills and productivity
Curated articles, articles, and resources from other authors can grow you as an engineer.
This one is a short article, but It’s just a start and you can join me on the journey by subscribing to this Newsletter. I will see you in the next week with the first issue.
